The upcoming presidential election is the first one in 50 years without the full protections of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 (VRA). Three years ago, the Supreme Court ruled in Shelby v. This session will educate young professionals and voters about what’s at stake in this election cycle. Moreover, how they can mobilize and exercise their civic powers to reverse voter discrimination and suppression.
