William-Honablew
William M. Honablew, Jr. is the Director of the Raymond V. Haysbert, Sr. Center for Entrepreneurship at the Greater Baltimore Urban League. He is a Maryland business consultant, who works with small to medium size business to reengineer their business processes and grow revenue while positively impacting their stakeholders. Honablew has trained thousands of people throughout the country on financial management, strategic planning, marketing, effective communication, advocacy, the legislative process, etc. He has worked with educational, government, non-for-profit, and for-profit organizations to help them move to the next level.
Honablew served as a budget analyst for the Maryland General Assembly where he was responsible for the analysis and recommendations for more than $1 billion in annual expenditures and agencies’ strategic decisions. He has also worked with the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene on matters of public health policy.
Honablew is very active in the community, having served in numerous roles with the Greater Baltimore Leadership Association, president of the young professional auxiliary of the Greater Baltimore Urban League, and Treasurer of the National Urban League’s Young Professionals. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Fraternal Order of X-Offenders and the Maryland Academy for Technology and Health Sciences.
