Satchel B. Jester has a point-of-view and he knows how to use it. Establishing influence as a result of his taste in lifestyle and footprint in pop culture and entertainment for over 15 years, the Atlanta native is the go-to-guy for the details that embroider life.
Jester knows the importance of live interaction, exciting experiences, and standing impressions. He’s been tapped to curate exactly that for brands, networks, musicians, and pop culture giants. Jester has also served as a product ambassador for Ford, Universal Pictures, McDonald’s, and Verizon Wireless.
Jester is Senior Editor at Upscale magazine and Deputy Editor at UPTOWN Magazine. A multi-faceted “picture painter”, Satchel’s discerning taste has made him a sought after lifestyle journalist, covering beauty, fashion, entertainment, business, and health. He is often called upon to host launches, previews, and talkbacks for products, brands and events, which he shares through his premiere column, Scene by Satchel.
Satchel recently completed a South African tour commissioned by the South African Board of Tourism, shared stages with Sherri Shepherd and Janelle Monae at the annual ESSENCE festival, and is preparing to release the first of two multi-media projects – a web series and a “Scene by Satchel” book.
