Roderick Hardamon, investor, author, Wall Street executive, and philanthropist, has achieved a level of success well beyond his years. His first book, Trying to Get There: Navigating Your Success is an inspiring “one-on-one” discussion told from the perspective of this  young,  talented,  financial  services  executive  who  reached  the  upper echelon of Wall Street in just 10 years.

Roderick  is  the  Founder  and  Chairman of  the  URGE Development  Group,  a real  estate  development  and  business  innovation  firm  based  in  Detroit,  MI. Formerly, Hardamon  was  the  North  America  Head  for  Citi  Alternative  Investment  Services, with over   $300B   in   assets   under   administration   and   Global Co-Head   of   Mergers   and Acquisition for Citi Markets & Banking.

Because  of  his  sincere  interest  in  service  and  dedication  to  excellence,  Hardamon has served  on the boards  of  several  non-profits,  including Board Vice Chair of The  Council  of  Urban Professionals; former Board Chair of Millennium  Dance  Company; the  UNCF  New  York  Leadership  Council;  and  as  a  founding  member  of  the  Dean’s Advisory Council for Morehouse College.  

As an in demand distinguished speaker, Roderick has been invited to speak at numerous institutions and organizations, including Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School, Dartmouth College, the New York Urban League, and NASP.
