Mike Muse, co-founder of Muse Recordings, is a music executive, political expert, and change agent. Muse uses his platform to create social change by exploring the intersections between politics and pop culture. As an industrial engineer turned media mogul, he has secured deals with the NFL, NBA, Chrysler, and Starbucks.
Muse is a pop culture and politics commentator on XM Sirius Satellite Radio, VH1, BET, NBC, and ARISE. Muse enjoys shaping discussion, debate, and future thought leaders. He has guest lectured on various political and music topics at Columbia University, New York University, and the University of Michigan, to name a few.
As a member of President Barack Obama’s National Finance Committee, Muse was one of the youngest persons in America to raise over $1 million for any American President in one year. He was recently appointed to serve as the Unites States Small Business Administration, My Brother’s Keeper, and Millennial Entrepreneurial Champion – designed to support President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative. He was also appointed to serve on the Board of Advisors for the Mayors Fund to Advance New York City by Mayor Bill de Blasio. Muse has received numerous honors and recognition for his achievements.
