Maria Davis is a former model, music industry promoter, and activist who speaks to thousands of people every year about HIV/AIDS awareness. In addition to being an appointee to New York City’s HIV/AIDS Services Administration and raising money for several AIDS organizations, Maria donates her time to several organizations, including Terence Cardinal Cooke Nursing Home AIDS ward, North General Hospital, Iris House, Project Return, amfAR, Boys Harbor, and Rivington House.

Maria regularly speaks to educators, health care providers, ministers, and social workers regarding HIV/AIDS awareness and sensitivity. She is also a spokesperson for Merck’s I Design campaign, a national HIV education campaign to empower people living with HIV to play an active role in designing their treatment plans with their doctors.
