Linda-Blount
Linda Goler Blount joined the Black Women’s Health Imperative as President and Chief Executive Officer in February, 2014. Linda oversees the strategic direction for the Imperative and is responsible for moving the organization forward in its mission to achieve health equity, reproductive and social justice for Black women across the lifespan.
During more than 25 years working in private and non-profit sectors, Linda has provided innovative leadership that deploys an inter-disciplinary approach to large-scale challenges. Before joining the Imperative, Linda served as Vice President of Programmatic Impact for the United Way of Greater Atlanta, where she lead transformation in health, income, education and housing stability through place- and population-based work.
Linda holds memberships at the Society for Public Health Education, Leadership Atlanta and National Association of Health Services Executives, and serves on the boards of the Georgia School-based Health Alliance, University of Michigan School of Public Health, Summer Enrichment Program, 10SKY, and Morehouse School of Medicine, Public Health Program Advisory Committee.
