Kelly Swoope is an evening news anchor for ABC2, WMAR-TV. Swoope is the person you turn to for the latest information, breaking news, and details on all of the happenings in and around the Baltimore area.

Prior to becoming the evening anchor for ABC2 News, Swoope was a health reporter sharing groundbreaking medical stories with Baltimore news viewers. She has won numerous awards for her work on screen and behind the scenes for her involvement in the community. Commitment to the community where she lives is a big part of what makes Swoope so well-known in this market.

Kelly received her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Bowling Green State University, where she minored in Management.
