Charisse R. Lillie is Fellow and Vice President of Community Investment of Comcast Corporation and Executive Vice President of the Comcast Foundation. 

Previously, Lillie was a partner in the law firm Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, from 1992 to 2005. She was Chair of the Litigation Department from 2002 to 2005. Prior to joining the firm, Lillie’s legal experience included positions as Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division; Assistant United States Attorney; and City Solicitor of Philadelphia. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of Howard University, NBCUniversal Foundation, The Franklin Institute, and The Executive Leadership Council. Lillie served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. She is a member of the Board of Directors of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, and PECO, an Excelon Company.

Lillie received her B.A. from Wesleyan University; her J.D. from Temple Law School; and her LL.M. from Yale Law School.  She has been awarded honorary degrees from Seton Hill University, Peirce College and Cheyney University.  Lillie worked as a research assistant to the Honorable A. Leon Higginbotham, Jr. on his first book, In The Matter of Color.
